Dual-track study programme – theory and practice (M/F)
You want to study, but you also want to work? In fact, you’d prefer to do both at the same time? Then this option is ideal for you. A combination of work and study is the perfect solution: combine vocational training in our company with a university-level science degree.
The combination of theory and practice offered by our dual-track study programme puts you ahead of the game in terms of personal finances and qualifications. What is more, it offers real practical relevance and the best chance for obtaining a permanent position within our company. The strong practical focus of this programme helps you get to know the working world at an early stage. Later you have the chance of getting a foot on the career ladder more quickly. Another benefit is you will already acquire key soft skills such as good communication and team skills. With our dual-track programme, we remunerate both your practical work and your theoretical training at our partner university.
Attain your goal quickly
The regular study duration is 9 semesters, including practical stages at InterEngineer.
The dual-track study programme concludes with a final examination and the academic title of Bachelor of Engineering.
As the dual-track programme includes a vocational component, you will have the option of obtaining two academic qualifications: your academic degree and an additional vocational qualification in the field of safety in our Rail Safety Campus. The Rail Safety Engineer graduation examination is carried out by our partner, FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences.

Together with our partner university, the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences in Wolfenbüttel, we offer you the chance of completing an academic degree and collecting practical experience in our company at the same time.

Are your excited about everything that modern electrical engineering has to offer? Do you enjoy the challenge of mastering tricky problems? If so, please get in touch with us once you have completed your school-leaving qualification.
During the three-year dual-track programme, you switch back and forth between a university course and vocational training with us. During the practical stage, you will receive vocational training in our development department where you will work on new developments for customer projects as well as special customer requests.
